This concept is a personal project about the memories that left the buildings of older decades. They still have in our days an extremely strong being on the roads of Athens and all of them have their story their memories, but they still stand speechless. After the 1922 Asia Minor disaster, thousands of refugees flooded the capital. In the old quarry, behind the Philopappos hill in Petralona, 800 refugee families settled. Most of them came from Attalia of Asia Minor. They had appropriate buildings to live on after the 50s. It was a “Dream district” for them and now is just the memories!
